Johannes Neuhold born 1992 in Graz first attended trombone class at the age of ten years at the Musikschule Birkfeld – District Anger by Mag. Manfred Wiener. He successfully passed the final exam as well as the exam for the achievement badge in gold of the Union for Wind Music for Styria.
During his time at the military band of Styria he attended conducting classes for wind band by Gerald Oswald at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Konservatorium in Graz, where he graduated in the year 2012 with excellence.
Afterwards he continued his education in the area of wind band conducting by visiting several conducting and master classes hold by Isabel Ruf-Weber, Miro Saje, Thomas Doss and Thomas Ludescher.
Lately Johannes studied condcuting at the Landeskonservatorium Tirol by Thomas Ludescher.
Since 2014 he is the conductor of the Musikverein Anger and successfully participated with the band at concert and marching competitions, which was honored with the Styrian Panther and 2019 with the Robert Solz Medal.
From 2017 to 2023 he was youth referee in the music district Birkfeld and tried to strengthen the eduction and enhancements of young musicians by working together with the Musikschule Birkfeld and organizing youth events (yearly youth music camp).
